Description

A Tall Cylindrical Form

The holder is reduced to a slender vertical cylinder with a deeply recessed candle platform. Its clean proportions create a strong silhouette while keeping the pillar candle and flame visually clear.

Carved from Natural Travertine

Each holder is turned from a solid piece of beige travertine, with natural pores, mineral markings, and tonal variation remaining visible across the surface. These characteristics vary from piece to piece and give every holder its own appearance.

Hand-Polished Finish

The travertine is hand polished and left uncoated, preserving the natural texture of the stone. Its substantial weight gives the tall form a grounded presence on dining tables, consoles, mantels, and shelves.

Care

Allow the candle holder and any wax to cool completely before cleaning.
Remove hardened wax gently with a fingernail or a smooth plastic edge.
Do not use blades, metal scrapers, abrasive pads, strong cleaners, or acidic liquids.
For travertine, remove wax or residue promptly so it does not remain in the natural pores.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size candle does the holder accommodate?

The holder is designed for a pillar candle that sits securely within the recessed upper platform. Compare the platform diameter with the base of your candle before use. A specific maximum candle diameter should be added once the opening measurement is confirmed.

How should I remove dried wax from the travertine?

Allow the wax to cool and harden fully, then lift it away gently with a fingernail or a smooth plastic edge. Wipe away any remaining residue with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use metal tools, abrasive pads, or harsh cleaners.

Will my candle holder look exactly like the product photos?

Not exactly. Each holder is carved from natural travertine, so the balance of pores, mineral markings, tone, and surface texture will vary from piece to piece.

How should I care for the travertine surface?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged contact with oils, colored wax, perfume, or acidic liquids.

How does the holder protect delicate surfaces?

Clear 3M™ silicone bumper pads are included for the underside. They create a discreet buffer between the travertine and glass, lacquered, or polished wood surfaces while adding grip.
