Q: Why does Verdora focus on the combination of Stone and Metal?
A: We believe in Elemental Harmony. Stone (Marble and Travertine) represents the grounding energy of the Earth, providing a silent, architectural anchor for your space. Metal represents the Spark—the strength that supports the fragrance ritual. Together, they transform a functional object into a sculptural piece of "Nature's quiet gift."

Q: Is every piece of marble identical?
A: Never. We use Natural Marble (White Carrara, Green, and Black). Each piece carries unique veining and organic imprints from millions of years of geological pressure. To us, these "imperfections" are nature’s own signature—a core part of our Wabi-sabi aesthetic.

Q: What is the difference between your "Solid Brass" and "Brass-finished" items?
A: Transparency is our guiding principle:

Solid Brass: Our "Jewels" series accessories (like snuffers and specialized incense holders) are crafted from 100% Genuine Solid Brass. They are heavy, rich, and will develop a beautiful natural patina (darkening) over time.

Brass-finished Metal: For our marble-dominant pieces, we use a high-density iron core with a premium brass-toned finish. This provides the necessary physical weight and "sturdy" stability to safely anchor candles, ensuring the object feels grounded and eternal.

II. Care & Maintenance
Q: How do I care for my marble objects?
A: Marble is a porous, living material. Avoid acidic substances and harsh chemicals. To clean, simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. We embrace the Wabi-sabi philosophy—if your stone develops a slight character over years of use, see it as a beautiful record of your home’s history.

Q: Will the metal parts change color or rust?
A: Solid Brass items: They will naturally darken over time when exposed to air and touch. This "aged" look is highly intentional and reflects the "Old Money" vibe we curate.

Brass-finished items: These are sealed with a protective layer to maintain their vintage luster and prevent oxidation/rust.

Q: Why do some metal parts have magnetic properties?
A: In specific designs, we utilize a solid iron core for its superior "Weighted Stability." This ensures your sculptural decor has the physical heft required to remain secure on any surface, blending industrial strength with aesthetic elegance.

III. The Fragrance Ritual
Q: How should I use the Essential Oil with the Marble Burner?
A: Our 100% pure essential oils are highly concentrated. For our marble burners, fill the brass-toned bowl with water, add 3-5 drops of oil, and light a tea light candle beneath. The natural marble base will slowly absorb the warmth and radiate it evenly, creating a gentle, long-lasting scent diffusion.

Q: Can I use the marble holder for other purposes?
A: Absolutely. Beyond the ritual of scent, our pieces are designed as sculptural objects. Many of our clients use the marble bases as jewelry trays or minimalist desk organizers, celebrating the timeless beauty of natural stone.

Q: Why does my marble/travertine product look slightly different from the photos? 
A: We use 100% natural stone. Variations in veining, color gradients, and surface pores (especially in travertine) are inherent geological characteristics, not manufacturing defects. Each piece is a unique fragment of earth, meaning your functional sculpture is entirely one-of-a-kind.

Q: How do I clean and maintain the natural stone? 
A: Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Strictly avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners (like lemon or vinegar-based products), or abrasive sponges, as they will permanently etch the natural stone surface. For porous stones like travertine, avoid submerging them in water.

Q: Are Verdora products heavy? 
A: Yes. Because we use solid marble and dense brass, our pieces possess substantial physical weight, grounding them firmly in your space. Please handle them with care to prevent damage to the product or your surfaces.
